Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels

Armortex® is the original manufacturer of UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels. This material is manufactured using a woven roving ballistic grade cloth we manufacture in-house. The cloth is mechanically injected with resin and placed in a hydraulic hot press, then pressed into flat rigid panels that come in 3′ and 4’ widths and 8’, 9’ and 10’ lengths. By using an anti-ballistic grade fiber in our panels, we can maximize our ballistic performance by consistently achieving a uniform resin to fiber ratio. This allows the proper ply delamination to encapture projectiles.

Bullet Resistant & Specialty Textiles

Armortex® operates a modern, vertically integrated textile operation with the ability to weave and stitch a variety of products such as E-glass, S-glass, Aramids and other specialty materials.

End user applications for our textile products include:

  • Rigid composite panels for ballistic, blast resistant and forced-entry requirements.
  • Soft armor applications.
  • Specialty fabrics suitable for boat, pipe, tank or pool construction.
